Lonely is setting in

Shawn has only been gone 11 days and normally I don't get lonely this soon.

For some reason this time, it's terrible.

Thank goodness I have lots of friends and a pretty mare to keep me occupied.

Hang in there Jocelyn. I can't imagine what your facing. I'm coming out to see you and Heather ride on Saturday. Are you doing english and western or just western? Wondering if I need to be there before lunch or not.

You can do this. I know it's hard. Remember, I had to be without Ranchman John for 30-40 days at a time, trying to take care of the kids and all the stuff that seems to break down when he's gone. It's no fun, that's for sure.
But you're one tough chick, and like you said, you have a lots of good friends and a great horse, too.
What a full, rich life you have, my friend.

Now, go live it! :)

Stay busy it helps. I live in Canby and love to go on trail rides if you are ever interested. Of course it needs to dry out a bit. It would be nice to meet you.

Yes - staying busy does help. My hubby used to work a graveyard shift at work and for weeks at a time we'd never see each other at all. I got to where I would habitually line stuff up for me to do alot of the time...
