This is how I feel I look when I see myself riding Star. Pictures always make me look and feel like this woman. Also known as....
" Shrek On Donkey" syndrome.
Can you imagine what this poor Donk is thinking?
I have a hard fast opinion on that you should weigh NO MORE than 20% of your mounts weight. That includes TACK.
I am right at or below that mark. So to make sure my horse and her joints last a long time and keep the chiro and Vet at bay), I need to lose weight to get down to 15 % or less.
This is how I want to look and feel. Slimmer, toned and a great view when I am walking away.
Field boots are so sexy , but I want the whole package.
So I will be taking before pictures and after in this above pose for the WHOLE world to see.
I bet you guys just can't wait for that!
Until next time........

Good luck! You can do it!
Oh. My. I think the Shrek Woman weighs more than Donk and tack..... poor bugger...
And kick a$$ on the weight loss baby!!
Thanks KP, I know I can, its a matter of no junk, no fast food and run run running until I can run no more..
So I would be looking for lighter weight tack...but that's just me. LOL Love the poor little donkey photo but do feel for the donkey. Somewhere I heard that each horse's leg can carry so much weight. It came from me feeling sorry for all these small cutting horses carrying these big cowboys chasing cows. That's when I heard this tidbit...but do not remember the amount of weight!!!
WTH! Poor long eared buddy. Looks like he's carrying another ass on his back! bah!
He's gonna need an adjustment after she falls off.
I would never sit on an animal that was smaller than me, even a beast of burden. Jeez!
I even felt guilty riding Rosie, but my weight is below 20% of hers, thank goodness!
I can't wait to see your before photo. I think you're beautiful an nowhere near as 'weighty' as Shrek Woman.
But I know how important this is to you....and you have some serious determination, so I know you can succeed!
And we'll be cheering you on!

my barn owners hubby is 6 foot 8 and rides a 14.2 hand cutting horse.
its comical
I will be posting " before" pics soon. Got to get BBFF to take them on a nice day.
That is a funny picture! :) I wish I had long legs on a horse. I should be riding a 14.2 hh horse, not a 15.2 hh horse! I'm a shorty and my legs hardly go down the horse's body!
Good luck with your goals!!
Woo Hoo! Go Jocelyn! You can do it!
You are brave about the before photos. My husband has been forbidden to take those butt shots that so traumatize me on sight. Your running program is inspirational.
My gut and thighs seem to be where my fat likes to accumulate and taunt me. So I hate pictures of me riding. We're on the right track though!
