Stress eating

Now I know why I do what I do.
I am a stress eater.

I had a very very very stressful morning, so what do I choose to scarf down?

Diet DP, bag of Salt and Vinegar chips and a 3 Musketeers.

I know it's bad for me and I did it anyway.

But I do feel a tad bit better :)

What do you Blogger Peeps eat when the stress is ON like DONKEY KONG... ???

Pretty much everything I can get my hands on! If I'm feeling down in the dumps, I eat nothing. But stress or PMS -- watch out or I'll chew your arm off!

I do try to keep some healthy stuff around for stress eating like hummus w/ veggies or greek yogurt. I like fat free vanilla greek yogurt with cinnamon, honey and a little handful of sliced almonds. YUMMO! Or, chocolate pudding (fat and sugar free) with some cool whip (actually the stuff at Whole Foods is awesome and doesn't taste half as fake as cool whip), half of a banana (sliced) and a sprinkling of nuts like pecans. YUMMY! Popcorn works too. If you have a Whirley Pop, you can cook it with some oil and a little butter and you don't use much of the bad stuff, but can have an entire bowl without making a complete hog of yourself. If all else fails, Kettle Chips with french onion dip and a pint of Ben and Jerrys will work.

Ummm, I bake. And Cook. And clean... and then eat like mad. If it aint nailed down and dont bite me first, I eat it. Seriously.

Today for instance: two loves of homemade bread, nanner bread. My hubby did a roasted chicken to DIE for, complete w/ gravy, herb rice, feild peas, and rutabeaga. Know what I ate? ALL OF IT. WITH GRAVY!!!!! (Damn if that gravy was not freaking good enough to drink on its own though... and I dont even LIKE gravy!!)

Chin up Baby--- we'll all make it.

You are after my own heart! I just love those Seasalt and Vinegar potato chips too and I would also have a diet Coke, and a chocolate bar or chocolate chip cookies....
then I get a sugar problem and have to go to bed and sleep through the sugar overload. I would still be stressed.....but what the heck, at least I had my chocolate! :)

My name is Sharon and I am a stress eater! Big time! I wasn't hungry at all at the track meet, but then when it was time for him run I just started stuffing the pretzels in my mouth, it was terrible. Then as soon as he was done running I didn't want anything. Why oh why can't I ever lose my appetite???? LOL!

Welcome to my world. I wish I could be one of those peeps who COULDN'T eat when they are stressed! Nope, not me...I have to grab WHATEVER I can find preferably Dr. Pepper and Chips with a Snickers!

Ok...I'm weird. We don't keep many snacks in the house, so when I'm stressed and can't convince hubby to go out and buy me some B&J's Cherry Garcia....I drink tea with lots of milk and sugar.
And then I read blogs. Because reading about others always gets my mind of my own crap. lol!

Sometimes I just trattle on and on and on....
