No Buck and ALL Bite

As many of my Blogger Peeps know Miss Star aka SIS, is well..... very CLEAR about her emotional state at any given moment. Just ask her she'll tell you.

Well it seems as if she has taken an interest in this drill thing we are doing but she thinks the pattern needs to be done at a canter not trot like everyone else, that the other horses are in her personal bubble and Mummy doesn't know the pattern as good as she does and should stop telling her to side pass, slow down, make friends with other horses etc...

So what does a mare do when Mummy won't listen?

Turn around and bite her on the BIG TOE in front of everyone. That'll learn her!

Boy was she surprised when she got a good couple of wallops and a B*** NO YOU DIDN'T!
to the back of her neck.

Needless to say, she did NOT get her after practice treats, hug or roll in the arena.

THAT'LL LEARN HER!!!!

mares........... need I say more?

Hah! Your mare and mine could be twins...in looks AND personality!

I've been fed up with her giving me the cold shoulder for so long, so I've been spending a lot of time with my neighbor's 3 horses, mostly because they will come when I call them. And as my mare stands there and stares, I feed my neighbor friend's horses carrots and cookies. Hah! She thinks she's hurting me now, she;s only hurting herself. No more tears from me!

I sure hope she didn't mangle you too badly. Miss Bling Bling Princess Star better mind her manners. Silly girl!

me and my young mare have a love/hate relationship. She is such a B sometimes! She's had to have an attitude adjustment on more than one occasion.

So, what's the name of the drill team you're on? Are you practicing at the Mt Hood Eq Ctr? Or is that the name of the place now?

I sort of miss the drill thing, but then again I don't...it definitely was a good experience for me and my horses though.

Ahhh...Culpeppers...no, my buckle came from Big R here in Burns...we have good taste?!? Ha!
