So for my lesson on Saturday with trainer Deb, I borrowed JP2's spare dressage saddle.
The bridle is mine :) We love us some fancy browbands.
So I hopped on, but Star was unusually spooky last night. That is not like her at all.
We were riding alone so we didn't do much work, just getting used to the saddle etc..
Star prefers an English/dressage/endurance saddle to the typical western saddle. She will really move out like a fancy horse.
Here is something funny about Star. If I say,"Stand still and look pretty" She will!! She stood like a rock for a good 5 minutes while I was trying to take these pictures :) Ears forward and everything! She is such a crack up.

Wow... that is a STUNNING horse. Truly beautiful.
Where will your show be Jocelyn? I know about the one at Mt. Hood on October 31st and 1st of November, but I hadn't heard about one on the 7th. I am assuming it's dressage, but maybe not?
Char, its a schooling practice show, no official judging or ribbons.
If you go to the MHEEC website its on there.
I bet you could sell her on the job of a dressage horse if you told her all about being a dressage queen's pampered pony.
She looks lovely in the dressage saddle (even if it is too wide it appears).
Good luck!
yes, it is too wide, it was bought to fit an Arabian and not a Paint/TB back.
Oh she would LOVE to be someones DQ Princess.
Oooo look at that pretty browband! ;)
And such a HAM Mare! LOL
Fingers will be crossed for you guys for the show. Can't wait to see how it goes!
She don't need no stinkin' job. She already lives a fine life on Welfare: free food, free health care, free spa treatments, free massages, free pedicures...
Gee, I wanna be a horse, too. Will you adopt me?
